Who We Are
STR is an independent fine art platform founded by Sawyer Taylor Ramsamooj, dedicated to showcasing artwork from paintings and photography, to sculpture, nurturing artistic expression, and creating opportunities for artists to share their work with a larger audience. Through its online presence, STR serves as a space for discovering, appreciating, and collecting art, with a growing vision of connecting artists, collectors, and art enthusiasts, furthering community and fostering connection within the art industry.
Currently, STR showcases original artwork by its founder, Sawyer Taylor Ramsamooj, establishing a creative foundation for the platform’s continued growth. Looking ahead, STR aims to expand its reach, with a particular emphasis on emerging talent, especially focused on those attending the Fashion Institute of Technology where Ramsamooj is a Fine Arts Alumni.
STR’s long-term objective is to expand its reach throughout New York City, collaborating with artists to showcase their work, facilitate sales, and create opportunities for exhibitions and greater public visibility. With an emphasis on emerging artists, STR aims to help cultivate a more accessible and inclusive art community where new creative voices can gain recognition, develop their practices, and connect with wider audiences.
Looking toward the future, STR aspires to establish Seeta Ram Gallery, a dedicated gallery space that will serve as a home for artists, particularly emerging and underrepresented talent. The gallery will aim to provide a platform for exhibitions, art sales, and creative collaboration, contributing to New York City’s cultural landscape.
STR was founded to bridge the gap between artists and audiences by upholding creativity, supporting artistic growth, and making art more accessible. Through continued expansion, partnerships, and the future development of Seeta Ram Gallery, STR envisions building a lasting presence in the New York art community.

Sawyer Taylor Ramsamooj (American, b. 2006, New York City, NY) is a contemporary artist working primarily across abstract expressionist painting, constructivist sculpture, and photography. Based in New York City, Ramsamooj’s multidisciplinary practice explores the relationship between visual expression, identity, and culture, drawing on experimentation, relatability, and contemporary visual culture.
Ramsamooj holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Fine Arts from the SUNY Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), where she developed a foundation in studio art. Her work has been featured in both digital and print publications, including Threaded Magazine at SUNY FIT and The Gandy Dancer at SUNY Geneseo. She is currently continuing her education in Advertising and Marketing Communications at FIT, where her studies in advertising, branding, and digital media inform her artistic practice and approach to audience engagement from a business perspective.
Combining creativity, business strategies, and entrepreneurship, Ramsamooj incorporates brand design, multimedia, digital marketing, web development, and other creative practices into the production and presentation of her work. This interdisciplinary approach extends to her founding of STR, an independent fine art platform dedicated to showcasing artwork across painting, photography, and sculpture while fostering artistic expression and connecting artists with wider audiences. Currently featuring original work by its founder, STR serves as the foundation for Ramsamooj’s broader vision of cultivating a more accessible and connected art community.
Ramsamooj continues to develop her practice in New York City, working across painting, sculpture, photography, and digital media while building an evolving body of work rooted in experimentation, relatability, and contemporary visual culture.
